In the decades following the Second World War, The Schlumpf brothers of Mulhouse secretly amassed a collection of motor vehicles regarded by many as the greatest in the world. Their obsession with the Bugatti marque in particular resulted in the preservation of a range of rare models, including the iconic Type 35b racer, as well as most of the surviving Royales. Displayed, are many hundreds of historically important vehicles mapping the development of the motor car as transport and a sporting tool from its earliest beginnings. This museum is a fantastic experience so we have included complimentary tickets for every team member to visit 'en masse' as Rallye Alpina on the day following the finish of our event. The tour can be completed in half a day but for those devotees of the four wheeled horse, there is so much to see that we suggest you stay with us at Basel for an extra night to do it justice - it will not disappoint.
